Working with Harriet at her studio in Glastonbury was an amazing collaboration…Two creatives coming together is never a bad thing!
I’m a huge fan of her work, so it was a real treat watching her process unfold on some of my favourite pieces. I floated around capturing her doing her thing and photographed it step by step. We were SO lucky to have beautiful Spring sunshine coming through the windows. Harsh light can be particularly wonderful when it comes to capturing shadows and colours, so the weather was meant to be:)
When I shoot artists it’s important that we not only capture the atmosphere and feeling of the creative space, but also all of the behind the scenes of what is involved in the creation the art itself. Along with candid portraits and details of the tools, together it creates a gallery of images that can tell their story on their socials, website and show off their work in high quality detail.
